Jaime CC. Acharya completed her medical education at American University of Antigua College of Medicine, followed by residency training at Southern Illinois University Decatur Program. 

Dr. Acharya’s clinical interests include preventative medicine and chronic care management, focusing on comprehensive healthcare across all ages and stages of life.

She is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Acharya values seeing the patient as a whole and keeping them as healthy as possible for as long as possible while working toward a plan agreeable to both physician and patient. Her approach emphasizes collaborative care through shared decision-making and evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual's needs.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys travelling, reading, knitting and crocheting, and spending quality time with family.

  • "I had my first appointment with Dr. Acharya and was very impressed. She was attentive, thoughtful, and took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns and answer my questions. I never felt rushed, which is something I really appreciated. She reviewed my medications thoroughly and made me feel like my health and concerns truly mattered. There was a small mix-up with a couple of prescription renewals, as some older medications were sent in by mistake, but it was a minor issue and easily corrected. Overall, the quality of care and the time she spent with me far outweighed that small oversight. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a physician who listens, cares, and takes the time to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care."
