James J. Marmora, MD, completed his medical education at Rutgers Medical School, followed by residency training at Overlook Hospital. He is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing since 1998. Dr. Marmora’s clinical interests include menopause care, with a focus on supporting patients through this stage of life with compassionate and evidence-based treatment.


Dr. Marmora is also committed to medical education and welcomes students and residents to learn alongside him in clinical practice. His approach to patient care emphasizes developing long-term relationships, partnering with patients to support their health and well-being over time.

I also love how he keeps current and so willingly shares new medical information that pertains to staying healthy. While I am very happy for Dr. Marmora (per his upcoming retirement), I am downright sad and will miss him dearly. He is a great doctor/human being - always there for his patients! It must also be said that Dr. Marmora has THE very best office staff on the planet. I love these ladies (special shout out to Angel Kayla!) and I hope with all my heart that they will remain as the practice moves (literally and figuratively) on to the next chapter."
